Set in Spain in 1913, La Promesa follows Jana Expósito, a young woman who arrives at a magnificent aristocratic estate with a secret mission: to uncover the truth about her mother’s murder and the disappearance of her younger brother.

Working as a maid in the household of the Marquis and Marchioness of Luján, Jana enters a world of privilege, family secrets, and deeply rooted social divisions. Her plans become complicated when she falls in love with Manuel, the marquis’s son, a relationship that challenges the boundaries between their very different worlds.

As Jana searches for answers, hidden betrayals and unexpected alliances threaten everything she believes. Combining romance, mystery, and period drama, La Promesa explores love, loyalty, and the pursuit of justice.

In 2024, the series won the International Emmy Award for Best Telenovela.
