Agâh Beyoğlu, a 65-year-old retired court clerk living alone in Istanbul, learns that he has Alzheimer’s disease. As he faces the possibility of losing his memories, he makes an unexpected decision: to seek justice for a terrible crime that has gone unpunished for years.

Meanwhile, Nevra Elmas, a determined police detective, begins investigating a series of mysterious murders. As the investigation unfolds, her path crosses with Agâh’s, revealing connections to a painful past that neither can escape.

Blending crime, suspense, and psychological drama, Persona explores memory, conscience, and the complicated relationship between justice and revenge.

In 2019, Haluk Bilginer won the International Emmy Award for Best Performance by an Actor for his portrayal of Agâh Beyoğlu, becoming the first Turkish actor to receive the honor.
