The art of marbling was recognized as the world’s common heritage at the Intergovernmental Committee on Intangible Cultural Heritage meeting attended by 190 countries between November 24-29, 2014 at UNESCO Headquarters in Paris. We asked the Ministry of Culture and Tourism General Directorate of Research and Education about this challenging process.
