The Istanbul Fashion Project is a first of its kind at New York Fashion Week (NYFW The Show). The project provided Turkish designers with the opportunity to share the same runway with leading brands in the fashion world. The mixed show featured the spring-summer collections of designers from “House of Ogan, L’Atelier Caché, 113 Studio, Erol Albayrak, and Nilufer Satorius.”

Turkish designers, who presented their Spring-Summer collections alongside the world’s most important designers at New York Fashion Week through the “Fashion Istanbul” project, had the chance to stand side by side with the world’s fashion giants on the same calendar with this fashion show.

Turkish slippers, showcased for the first time at New York Fashion Week, attracted attention with their natural colors and authentic designs. The slippers, produced entirely by hand using organic leather and earth dyes at CHETICS’ workshop in Turkey, will grace the streets of the world in the spring-summer months.

Representatives of well-known brands in the fashion industry, the American media, and 400 distinguished guests watched the show.

The fashion show took place at Skylight Clarkson Square, the official venue of NYFW. The show, which was attended by Turkish Consul General Ertan Yalçın and his wife Başak Yalçın, also drew prominent figures such as Özge Ulusoy from Turkey, Michele Pardon from the Financial Times, Pritan Ambroase, Global Luxury Brand Ambassador of Emporio Prive, and Marianna Phillips from Vogue and CDCLifestyle magazine, as well as fashion bloggers, representatives of renowned brands in the fashion industry, American media, and 400 distinguished guests.

The Ebru patterns designed by Bingül Sevimli, an Ebru artist living in New York, for fashion designer Nilüfer Satorius will bring a different perspective to fashion trends. The creations, presented by 10 models, will continue to be exhibited at Satorius’ showroom on 5th Ave.

The official footwear sponsor for the project was ‘CHETICS,’ the makeup sponsor was ‘NOTE Cosmetics,’ and the hair was styled by Fonex, a Turkish hair product brand.

Turkish model Didem Soydan also walked the runway at the fashion show.
